It is very important that you keep yourself fit and healthy while you are travelling. After all travelling is a fun activity,and for that you must have a healthy mind and body to enjoy. so, before planning out a holiday or a journey, try to follow some tips have a healthy travelling experience.

  • First and foremost, make a small medicine kit or a bag with all basic medicines or the specific ones that you need. Try to carry enough medicines that can last for long or throughout your trip.
  • Before leaving for the trip, go for a medical checkup. you should also follow the same after you return back from the trip.
  • Try research and know about different health issues of the place, that you are visiting. Take proper precautions and vaccinations if needed. Also find out names and adresses of some hospitals and doctors in that place.Immediately go for a medicl advice if you are having a fever.
  • Wherever you go or wherever you are eating, make sure to wash your hands properly. This is something that should be followed at this swine flu epidemic.
  • You should have proper amount of sleep before you leave. This will help you to minimise jet lag. Don’t overeat during the flight.
  • If you are flying, then try to consume more water, as it may cause you dehydration. Avoid drinking alcohol and try to consume juices and other beverages. If you have a long journey flight, then try to take little walks in between as they will avoid blood clots in the legs.
