Doctors’ Hard Talk on Obesity Patients!
I believe that companies are extremely careful when recruiting employees. The other day, a friend of mine had to face an interviewer who asked him how is she to trust him to be careful, when he couldn’t take care of his body weight. That was a question that could have landed her in trouble, except that a week later, my friend talked to her again. This time, he had lost 3 kilos in 4 days! Job Given!
Looks like tough talk, especially from people who matter does a lot of good than bad. And that is what probably doctors do when then try talk hard to those who suffer from being overweight!
Yep and American Medical Association (AMA) committee has made some observations. Though most careless terms like “overweight” were suggested to be avoided, unnecessary smooth talking will also take a break.
All in all instead of listening to “you are getting into a situation what could be called overweight, and you will need lots of physical exercise”, you might listen “you will need exercise and diet. Otherwise you might end up increasing more weight.” If you think it is too smooth, don’t forget look at the strong message in the sentence. And if you think it is too harsh, common, he/she is just being a doctor!
