Myths about Nail Care!

Have you ever tried opening a tight lid of a container soon after you cut your nails? Well, if you did there is no necessity to explain you how important nails are in our daily life. Not only they protect your finger tips, they also add beauty to your fingers.

Though everyone takes care of their nails, there are some myths about nail care. Here we discuss some with you.

1. One major myth is about Using hardener containing polishes. It is assumed that they give stronger nails. Though such hardeners help splitting nails, but when used on normal nails, hardeners stiffen nails. That means, when you are using your nails strongly, there is more chance of their breaking!
The simple way of making your nails stronger is keeping them moist, especially after you remove a nail polish.
2. Another myth is about using artificial nails. The assumption that artificial nails can help cover spoilt nails is only half the truth. It is always advised to take care of you nails, more so when you are having trouble with your nails. Make sure that your artificial nails don’t help fungus to grow in and around your nails.
3. Pushing cuticles back is believed to be a correct practice to keep the cuticles healthy. Well pushing cuticles only spoils the nail root they take care of. Meddling with cuticles invites fungus to settle down on your finger nails.

But in the end, if you have a problem with nails, well be prepared for the pain. Though
nails seem to be small, they take long time to be cured off fungus. One of the main reasons is slow growth of the nails.
