Mineral Food to deal with Hair Loss!
Hair loss is a huge problem across the globe. And with no single reason behind it, the one magic medicine that can cure hair loss is hard to find. But researchers believe that if minerals in diet are taken care of, reversing hairloss isn’t going to be a surprise.
All of the minerals present inside the body are extremely important for healthy hair growth.
The normal minerals that can be taken inside human body are given below with necessary amount to be taken and food sources where they can be found:
Calcium: 1500 mg per day. You can find copper in fish, nuts, sesame seeds and lentils.
Chromium: 120 mg per day. Brewers yeast, whole wheat bread, liver and beef are good sources of Chromium.
Copper: Shellfish, liver, green vegetables, eggs, chicken and not to forget beans are all good sources of Copper. Make sure you get 3 mg per day.
Iodine: Iodized salt and fish are great sources for finding Iodine. But don’t take more than 150mcg per day.
Iron: Iron is an extremely important mineral. 15mg per day should be enough for you. And you can find iron in grains, wheat, meat, nuts etc.
Magnesium: 280 mg of magnesium is good for health, and you can find it in the same food where find lots of iron like grains, wheat germ, nuts, soy beans etc.
Managanese: Just about 3-9 mg of manganese is good enough for your hair to grow faster. Fish, chicken, nuts and seeds are good sources of manganese.
Selenium & Silica: 55mcg of each selenium and silica is good for health and hair. Both can be found in sea food and grainy foods.
Zinc: Zinc is an extremely important feature in hairgrowth, as Zinc and Vitamin A both work together. Spinach, Sunflower seeds, mushrooms, whole grains, red meat and brewer’s yeast, are great sources for both. However, please note that excess of zinc can result in absorption of Iron in your food, making you anemic. So kept it in check.
