Laziness Begets Back Pain!
“If you sit around too much long-term, such as a desk job with no sport in your spare time, the muscles can slowly change in a bad way, giving you a bigger risk of hurting your back,” says Dr. Daniel Belavy, a lead researcher of a Bed-rest study.
So all you guys who thought that only bed-rest is the key to be healthy, well think about it one more time.
Here is what the research says:
Having bed-rest without exercise shrunk the deeper muscles that protect men’s back.
Muscles, near the skin, stomach, and back became over active.
But then these are not just the thing that you should be worried about. If you are in the habit of sitting for long hours on your pc, whether at home or office; drive to your office; then go back home and watch tv – then you should be worried. Not just about your eyes, but also about your back. Such prolonged attitude towards life can also be called ‘lazy’ because you hate stretching your body. And mind you laziness is a huge factor in your back pain.
Anyways to beat back pain there is NO one way. But ‘Yoga’ of India, is one definite way of taking care of your back. Not only it is helpful to your back, it also helps you get perspective over your attitude towards your life.
