When your girlfriend does something horrible or her behavior irritates you, surely you will get into a fight with her. It disturbs your mood and your relationship for a minimum one week. Though you will reunite later, you can avoid all this by solving problems peacefully.

- When a fight happens, wait a few minutes. Understand what’s happening. You will realize that it is a mistake or misinterpretation. This is first and best step to avoid fight.
- Plan how to explain your girlfriend that what she did is wrong and deserves an argument.
- Confront your girlfriend at a time where both of you are not in public, and when you have an ample amount of time to argue.
- Appear tough while arguing, but don’t give an impression that you don’t value your relationship.
- If things don’t work out, don’t cry. Be strong!
- Remember – sometimes your girlfriend may need time to understand things properly and react. So wait.
- If there is any mistake on your part, realize and accept.

- Always take your time.
- No yelling.
- No hitting/punching/violence.
- Use neutral language, such as “I felt that…” in your explanations.
- Don’t accuse or insult your girlfriend. In long term it will have negative impacts, even if the fight is over.
