Drylands Will Not Eat your Gardens!

“2007 is going to be the warmest year of the earth, in the recent times” say scientists. Now whether this is true or not, none knows. It helps to be prepared for this kind of climate, especially when it concerns you’re your garden

So here are some facts ‘who’ will survive and ‘who’ will not in your garden:

  • Spring bulbs don’t need too much of your help! So don’t worry too much about your daffodils or tulips
  • Yucca Glauca will do fine in drylands as well, along with Filamentosa (and will keep giving those candelabras).
  • Rudbeckias will needs your help in mid summer. They will do even better when you give them some individual attention.
  • Irises survive, even if you put them in desert! Well, that is going over board. But well, yes they will be the best flowers for drylands!
  • Apricots need the least water, but remember they need some.
  • Though actually there are quite a few more facts that one can tell, but that will comprise of Russian Sage, out done by Lilac! Both will survive drylands!

So whatever the season, the plants that have been discussed above should keep your garden green or colorful, even if it is going to be as dry as never before.
