Want to get rid of baggy eyes?

The thin soft area around your eyes is very sensitive and hence most vulnerable to damage.
Some of the causes for baggy eyes could be allergies, dehydration, exhaustion, illness and lack of sleep. For some people it might be hereditary.
 
Here are some simple ways to get rid of those baggy eyes:

  • Use cucumber and potato as eye masks.
  • Make sure to get 6-8 hours of sleep every day.
  • Drink plenty of water every day.
  • Using tea bag is a good de-puffing technique. The tannin in the tea helps reduce the under eye swelling.
  • Reduce the salt content in your food to decrease the chances of having puffy eyes.
  • Avoid rubbing your eyes too much.
  • There are creams available in the market that is made especially to cure such problems.
  • You can use cotton wool dipped in rose water, and place them over your eyes. This will soothe your tired eyes.
  • You can do some eye exercise after consulting with your doctor.
  • To drain excess fluid, add another pillow while sleeping at night.
  • Avoid smoking, consuming alcohol and caffeine.
  • Massage the skin under your eye twice daily with a moisturizing cream.
