  1. In a study on 90 people, women who sat near a bouquet of colorful flowers like Pink tulips, red poppies or yellow daffodils were able to ease their job stress better than a philodendron.
  2. Flowery fragrances can also ease sadness, anxiety and anger. A whiff of lavender or rose can chase away mood blues for sometime. Smell some lavender just before an exam.
  3. The petals of Calendula flowers can soothe sun damaged skin, heal wounds and act as a moisturizer for dry skin.
  4. Rose oil is used to solve many women-related problems like an irregular menstruation, post natal depression or a mild prolapsus of the uterus. It is also used to soothe depression from a broken relationship. It is a well known aphrodisiac that can be applied to help frigid women and impotent men. It is also known to help with conception.
  5. Rose infusion is used to cure headaches and dizziness and its decoction can be used to soothe mouth sores. Rose water can be applied on skin to refresh it.
