Nail Care In Winter
Winter is a time when your skin becomes dry and unmanagable. Not just your skin, even your nails and hair are affected with the changing weather. To keep your nails at their shining best, you need to trim them often and keep them clean. Well kept nails always look good no matter what the occassion.
Here are some tips for nailcare:
1. Brush your nails with cuticle/nail oil every few days. If you can’t find these oils, you can apply petroleum jelly or cocoa butter as well.
2. Soak your nails in warm olive oil every night and follow it by a gentle massage. This will strengthen your nails.
3. Don’t over-manicure your cuticles. After drying your hands, push the cuticles back gently.
4. Apply a dot of nourishing cream at the base of each nail and massage it into the nail. Then using a stick, softly push back the cuticles, using circular motions and not pressing too far or too hard.
5. Apply a good moisturiser everytime you wash your hands and before sleep.
