  • Identify problematic areas in sitting/standing postures and correct these imbalances.
  • Make yourself mobile with daily stretches or activities that increase flexibility.
  • Do exercises that involve the whole body, especially the core muscles of the stomach, back, hips and pelvis.
  • Regularly do physical activities like walking, swimming and running for at least 20 minutes three times a week. Aerobic activities also can help decrease daily stress.
  • Get up in every 15 to 30 minutes from your seat, and move around or stretch.
  • Avoid standing in the same position for too long.
