  • Eat around five to six small meals a day.
  • Get up slowly from the bed in the morning, sit on the bed for a little while before standing up
  • Eat food high in protein, like peanut butter and nuts.
  • Make sure you have lots of fluids throughout the day, especially drinks like cola and Gatorade.
  • Go for an early morning walk to get lots of fresh air.
  • Avoid being around unpleasant smells or foods that are difficult to digest.
  • Try and avoid citrus juices, milk, coffee and tea around meals.
  • Capsules of powdered ginger have found to reduce nausea and vomiting in pregnant women.
