Most of the women who freeze their eggs for later , do so to rid them off the pressure to find Mr Right. they are also doing so to preserve their fetility in case they want to become single mothers.

A study conducted on the patients who had their eggs frozen at IVF clinic in New York suggest that around 80 per cent would like to have them fertilised with a donor sperm if they actually failed to find a suitable partner.

Many of these women are either childless or single, and had decided to keep some eggs on ice to “just take the pressure off” their search for a man to be a father to their children.

Researchers intrestingly have found that around 40per cent of the women were prepared to become single parents using their frozen eggs while another 40 per cent were still thinking about it.
